Paradise P-1 S-LSA

The P-1 has been introduced into the USA as an S-LSA aircraft by Paradise USA LLC, based in Sebring, Florida. No modifications have been made to its basic structure. It cruises at 120 MPH burning 5.3 GPH. With its solid aluminium landing gear and efficient wing design, enabling an extremely low stall speed, it offers excellent take-off and landing performance, making it possible to operate from very short, paved and unpaved runways. The standard P-1 LSA comes with a complete package including double deluxe yokes with PTT, VFR radio, standard 6-pack instrument panel, transponder with mode C encoder, a panel-mounted color GPS, vacuum horizon, manual elevator and rudder trim, manual flaps, sun shield, removable doors, parking brake and double toe brake, heavy duty hydraulic brakes, steerable nose wheel and aerodynamic wheel covers. Pilot and passenger comfort is guaranteed with adjustable and easily removable leather seats, a padded and carpeted interior, and optimum sound and heat insulation. With 18 cubic feet, the extremely useful baggage compartment behind the seats is the largest in this class of aircraft and can easily accommodate a couple of suitcases or golf bags.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SSX Track Car Concept

The Chevrolet Camaro might not be the cheap fun straight-line car it was back in the day, but it’s still sold quite well and spawned a few special editions. This new SSX Track Car concept is the ultimate edition. “The SSX concept explores taking Camaro’s excellent street performance and extending it into a road course context,” said Chris Perry, vice president, Chevrolet marketing. “The car expresses Camaro performance while also signaling Chevrolet’s new commitment to developing and offering a portfolio of performance parts for racing enthusiasts.” The SSX Track Car Camaro has been built for the racing circuit in mind. The suspension has been modified and some of the parts have been replaced with carbon fiber, such as lightweight carbon fiber body panels. There is also an adjustable rear wing, a revised lower grille, and unique brake cooling ducts. All of this has helped the Camaro shed some pounds. The car is painted in a low-gloss Icy White Metallic paint that contrasts well with the carbon bits and sits on 20-inch racing wheels. There are a few graphics and racing numbers to give the car that race ready look. This concept was constructed with input from Pratt and Miller, Chevrolet partner in Corvette Racing, and Riley Technologies using parts proven in the Grand Am racing series.
